In this article, you can find out more about his background and his role within the Ausha team. đ If youâd like to learn a bit more about other Aushos (aka Ausha employees), I invite you to read the interviews of Frank, Chief Product Officer and Adrien, Acquisition Manager.
Also, check out Podcast Onboarding on the Ausha Page to find out what their first days at Ausha were like. Happy listening! đ
Hello dear Emma! Although Iâm working from home, Iâm not in pajamas or capris. Iâm wearing some magnificent black Levis (full of cat hair đ) that I bought on sale đ and a t-shirt with a logo that would be hard to explain to those who arenât movie geeks. Itâs a t-shirt that lets me show off my gorgeous post-vacation tan. âď¸
Iâve been at Ausha since the very beginning, when it all really started. I think I remember being the first person hired specifically for the project, and Iâm very proud of that fact. đ
At the time, I was a backend developer, and everything had yet to be decided upon: the name, which features were needed, our team structure, my haircut⌠đ Our brains were working overtime, and the few people working on the project made all the decisions. It was a very creative and inspiring time.
And itâs very cool to see our baby grow up so quickly and so well. đŞ
Despite the fact that I do many things at Ausha, my official title is âProduct Ownerâ. I oversee technical projects and make sure theyâre successfully completed. I make sure the development team has everything they need, that they have a short/medium term vision for future developments, and that all the features have been well-thought-out, down to the last detail. In other words, Iâm never bored! đ
I started out as a web developer on the web team at La Voix du Nord, where I designed institutional and media websites. Then I lived a geekâs dream: working at Ankama, still as a web developer. I worked on several of their websites and also oversaw the APIs which allowed communication between the games and the websites. đť
Culture and the arts in general, but especially film đŹ â watching them as well as reading reviews, learning about how they were made, biographies, directors, etc.
Iâm also really into music â mainly rock from the 60s and 70s, electro-rock, metal and French music⌠đ¸
And last but not least, I love traveling and board games, and if I have any time left after that, Iâll play video games or build things with Legos.
Indeed, my love for cinema has inevitably led me to begin watching rotten movies. Itâs an interesting world filled with lots of laughter and amazement. My favorite rotten movie (maybe not very original, but one of the best known) is White Fire. Itâs an indescribable experience to be had with your boyfriend, girlfriend or group of friends. Itâs hard to explain why, but when you see it, youâll understand, and youâll thank me⌠đ
And since I work in the Podcast world, I must recommend the 2HDP dedicated to this film to prolong your enjoyment after watching it.
So, if itâs lunch with all three at once, Iâd choose Julien Lepers, Bill Murray and Jim Carrey. That would be fun! And thank God theyâre still alive. I hope theyâll live forever! đ
