With iOS 26.4, released on March 24, 2026, Apple redesigned the video experience on Apple Podcasts. It partnered with official hosting providers to power distribution, and Ausha is one of them.
Starting today, you can publish video to Apple Podcasts directly from Ausha. But this launch is part of a bigger goal: turning multi-platform publishing into one seamless workflow, so you can be discovered wherever your audience listens and watches.
As an official Apple Podcasts hosting partner, Ausha enables podcasters to publish video to Apple Podcasts directly from their existing workflow. This allows creators to:
1️⃣ Enable video distribution (one-time setup)
Activate video distribution for your show in Apple Podcasts Connect and your Ausha settings, then wait for Apple’s approval.
2️⃣ Upload your episode
Upload a video file to distribute it as both video and audio, on Apple Podcasts and YouTube, or upload audio only for standard audio distribution.
3️⃣ Activate the Apple Podcasts toggle
Turn on the Apple Podcasts toggle to publish your video there, and enable YouTube independently if you want it there too.
4️⃣ Edit episode content
Edit your episode metadata and artwork directly in Ausha before publishing.
5️⃣ Publish & distribute your episode
Publish as usual, Ausha delivers the episode in the right format for each platform you’ve enabled.
Some people discover podcasts on YouTube. Others stay loyal to Apple Podcasts, Spotify or another listening app. More and more of them switch between watching and listening depending on the moment.
For creators, this means being present everywhere. Too often, it also means juggling several tools, uploads and feeds.
One upload, distribution everywhere
That’s the problem Ausha set out to solve. Our Video Podcast offer started with YouTube and now extends to Apple Podcasts
✨ Upload your video file: you can publish your video on Apple Podcasts and YouTube, while your audio is extracted and distributed to all other listening platforms.
Don’t film your episodes? Nothing changes. Keep uploading audio and Ausha distributes it to all listening platforms as usual. It also creates a video for YouTube with a customizable animated waveform. And if you start filming, switching is as simple as uploading a video file.
With Ausha, whether you create audio-first or video-first, your podcast stays consistent across platforms and you manage everything from one place.
Video distribution is just the beginning. Ausha provides you with a powerful suite of marketing tools designed to help you turn your podcast into a true growth engine. Launching and growing your podcast has never been easier with Ausha.
With Ausha’s PSO Control Panel (Podcast Search Optimization), boost your podcast’s visibility so it appears at the top of search results on Apple Podcasts and Spotify. Identify the best keywords using AI, analyze your competitors, and optimize your metadata, titles and descriptions, to continuously attract a qualified organic audience.
Ausha offers a complete suite of promotional tools to help you shine across every channel. Create impactful video clips, schedule your social media posts with our built-in Social Media Manager, make listening easier with your Smartlink, and engage your subscribers through an automated Newsletter.
To turn growth into long-term success, you need to understand your performance. Track your episode listens in real time, learn more about your audience, and discover which platforms and countries your podcast performs best in. Identify when your audience listens the most to publish at the perfect time, and adjust your strategy based on the data that truly matters.
Already using a hosting provider and not ready to switch? No problem. Some of our growth tools, including the PSO Control Panel, Ausha Intelligence, and our brand-new Ausha Visibility Ads powered by Base for Creators, are available without hosting your audio files with us. Simply add your podcast name or RSS feed, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Do I need to upload my video anywhere else?
No. Upload to Ausha, and we handle the rest. Your video is hosted on Ausha’s infrastructure and delivered to Apple Podcasts through a secure connection.
What video formats does Ausha accept?
MP4 files are currently supported.
Will my existing audio workflow change?
Not at all. If you continue uploading audio only, everything stays exactly as it is. Video distribution is opt-in.
Does Ausha generate a video from my audio file, like it does for YouTube?
No. Unlike YouTube, where Ausha can automatically turn an audio file into a YouTube-ready video with an animated waveform, Apple Podcasts video distribution requires an actual video file. If you upload audio only, your episode is distributed to Apple Podcasts as audio, exactly as it does today.
What happens to my audio-only audience?
If you upload a video, Ausha extracts the audio and distributes it to every listening platform. On Apple Podcasts specifically, audiences can choose to watch or just listen, and switch between the two at any time.
How much does it cost?
Audio distribution to Apple Podcasts is available starting from Ausha’s Launch hosting plan. Video distribution to Apple Podcasts requires the Boost hosting plan or above.
With Ausha, distribute your video to Apple Podcasts and grow your podcast across the biggest listening platforms, all from a single place. Turn your video content into your next growth opportunity.
