You’ve built a podcast people come back to every week. Turning that audience into income is another job entirely. Finding advertisers, negotiating deals and managing campaigns takes time, a network and expertise that most creators don’t have on hand. That’s why so many shows never earn from their listeners.
Ausha already gives you several ways to earn from your show, from running your own ad campaigns to sending listeners to your crowdfunding page right from your Smart Player or podcast website. Today, we’re adding a fully hands-off option, where the ads come to you.
Automatic Monetization powered by SoundCast is now available to eligible podcasts in every language hosted on Ausha. Already live for French-language shows, it is now open to creators worldwide. Activate it in a few clicks from your Ausha account, and start earning advertising revenue, with no advertisers to contact and no campaigns to manage.
With Automatic Monetization, earning ad revenue becomes part of how you already manage your podcast on Ausha. If your show is eligible, apply directly from your account.
Once your show has been approved, SoundCast’s advertising network places ads in your episodes automatically. You receive 50% of the revenue your show generates, with earnings invoiced every month.
Getting started takes only three steps.
1. Apply from your Ausha account If your podcast is eligible, request access to Automatic Monetization directly from Ausha. No separate platform, no extra account to create.
2. Get approved and choose your exclusions Our team verifies your podcast’s eligibility, and Automatic Monetization with ads is activated on your show once approved. You can exclude any ad categories you’d rather not have played to your listeners.
3. Start earning automatically SoundCast delivers programmatic ads in your episodes, and you earn revenue based on ad performance. Your earnings are invoiced monthly, with 50% of the advertising revenue going straight to you.
Behind the scenes, SoundCast handles everything: matching your show with advertisers, placing the ads, and tracking performance.
Every download you’ve earned now has the potential to generate income. You don’t need to pitch brands or wait for a sponsor to find you. The advertising demand comes straight to your show. That revenue can fund better equipment, editing help, or simply more time to create.
Your listeners come back because they trust your voice. By excluding the ad categories that don’t match your values, you protect that relationship. Monetization stays automatic, and your podcast remains recognizably yours.
Selling ads is a full-time job. Automatic Monetization removes the outreach, negotiation, and campaign management, so the hours go back into your episodes. Better episodes bring more listeners, and more listeners bring more revenue.
Monetization is also the natural next step in your growth on Ausha. You get discovered organically with Podcast Search Optimization (PSO) and reach new listeners with Ausha Visibility Ads. Now, you can turn the audience you’ve built into revenue without ever leaving the platform.
SoundCast is more than an advertising intermediary. Based in Paris, with offices in London and New York, it designs and builds its technology in-house. It’s Europe’s only independent supply-side platform (SSP) dedicated to audio, and its ad server, SoundCast Monetize, is used by more than 100 ad sales teams worldwide.
For you, that means plugging into a global audio marketplace. SoundCast connects shows with advertisers across the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Brands and agencies buy that inventory directly or through major demand-side platforms (DSPs) such as The Trade Desk, DV360, and Basis Technologies.
And because it’s built into Ausha, monetization fits into the way you already run your show.
Automatic Monetization is available from November 3, 2026, on Launch, Boost, Supersonic, and Ausha Pro plans, for podcasts in all languages.
To be eligible, your podcast needs at least 5,000 downloads in the past 30 days.
Not there yet? Ausha’s growth tools, including PSO Control Panel and Ausha Visibility Ads are built to help you reach that threshold.
Can I choose which advertisers appear on my podcast? Advertisers are selected automatically through SoundCast’s programmatic ecosystem. You stay in control by excluding the ad categories you don’t want played on your show.
Do I need to manage advertisers or campaigns? No. Once monetization is activated, ad placement and delivery are handled automatically by SoundCast.
How much will I earn? You receive 50% of the advertising revenue generated by your podcast. Your earnings depend on ad performance and on the size of your audience.
How do I get paid? Your earnings are invoiced automatically every month. Payments are issued once your balance reaches the minimum payout threshold.
My podcast isn’t in French. Is it eligible? Yes. Automatic Monetization is open to podcasts in all languages hosted on Ausha, as long as they meet the eligibility threshold.
What if my podcast has fewer than 5,000 downloads in the past 30 days? You can apply as soon as your podcast reaches the threshold. In the meantime, you can already start earning. On any hosting plan, add your Patreon, Kickstarter or any other crowdfunding link to your podcast website and Smartplayer. From the Boost plan, insert your own sponsors’ ads with manual monetization and keep 100% of the revenue. And to reach the threshold faster, discover Ausha’s PSO Control Panel and Visibility Ads.
